We purchase high-quality cosmetic pigments in water based paints that will last for many hours with minimal smudging or spreading. Despite the strength of these face paints, they will easily wash off with water and soap. To safeguard against sanitation issues, we clean our equipment prior to coming to your event.

Face Painting HistoryFace painting has been around for thousands of years. Traditional face art work for hunting or religious reasons has existed across a wide variety of indigenous cultures ranging from Australia to New Zealand, throughout many parts of Africa and throughout the Asian Pacific Islands. While Face Painting Adventures may no longer use the traditional plants and pigments found in the traditional paints, we feel like our work is a great commemorative expression of these older works of art.
